I am the current Chair of Governors and have been a Co-opted Governor at London Meed for six years. I have 1 grandson at London Meed and as a retired Primary Head teacher I hope that I contribute both expertise and enthusiasm to the school. I am currently the governor responsible for Safeguarding and HT Performance Management. I am a member of the Finance and Pay Committees. I am Co-opted Governor and grandparent of a child at London Meed School. I am responsible for Early Years Foundation Stage, SEND Lead, and am a member of the Finance and Pay Committees. As a retired Primary Headteacher from Brighton and Hove I enjoy having the opportunity to share my expertise in my Governor role.

I am a retired Secondary Advanced Skills teacher. In this role, I was part of the leadership team at a large successful school in SE London and the Borough Advisor for my subject. I have six grandchildren, of whom two are pupils at the school.
I have been a Governor at London Meed for four years. I am responsible for Head Teacher Performance and Management, English including Phonics and Oracy. I am the Lead of the Junior Governors.

I am a newly Co-opted Governor at London Meed School. I moved from Brighton to Shoreham nearly two years ago, having retired from the Primary School I taught at in Brighton and where I also served as a staff governor. As a teacher, I was responsible for languages and global issues. I have three grown up children and I have just become a grandparent for the first time. I am responsible for Maths, Assessment and I am the Disadvantaged Lead Governor. Children's education is something I am passionate about and I am therefore thrilled to be involved in schools once more.

Mrs Sammie Finlay
Parent Governor
I have 4 children, 3 of whom have attended or are attending London Meed, my youngest child started at London Meed in September 2022. I have been part of the London Meed Community since 2012 and have spent many years supporting the school through fundraising events with the LMA. I am the Lead Curriculum Governor. I am passionate about wanting to have a fun, rewarding environment for all children to have access to and reach their full potential.

As a parent of a child in year 4, I have been part of the wider school community for several years now and will be joining the finance sub-group as well as the main board of Governors,. In my day job I work for a large, global NGO supporting colleagues around the world on business planning, governance and strategy development in fundraising; skills which I hope will equip me for this really important role.

I am a Parent Governor with one child in Year 3 at London Meed and one child who left London Meed in July. I am responsible for Leadership, Health and Safety and Finance. I hope to bring my experience from working in the NHS and local government to the school.

I have been Deputy Head and a member of the governing body at London Meed for over 6 years. I have recently become Head teacher.

I am a Year 6 class teacher as well as the Mathematics Lead at London Meed. I have two teenage girls who both attended London Meed. I am the current Staff Governor.

I am an Associate Governor. I have worked at London Meed for 16 years in various roles and I am currently the Shadow Senco. All of my children have attended London Meed.
