Admissions and Prospective Parents

Welcome to London Meed Primary School!

This page is for any parents or carers looking to start their child either in Reception in September 2027 or mid year in any other year group if spaces are available.

All admissions to our school are managed through the Pupils Admissions Team at West Sussex County Council.  You can contact them directly via email at admissions.north@westsussex.gov.uk or via phone on 03330 142903.

Prospective Reception Parents for September 2027:

We have tours availalble for any prospective parents and carers that you can book on to.  We ask that you bring your child with you to any of our tours.  Each tour starts with a short talk about the school, a look around and a treasure hunt for the children and then time spent in the Reception learning environment where we serve refreshments and staff are on hand for any questions.  And of course, your child gets to take home some treasure! If you would like to book on, please click on the dates below.  If you have any queries, please contact the school on admissions@londonmeedprimary.co.uk or via phone on 01444 232336..

We know that starting school comes with a lot of paper work and form filling, so to try and keep this as simple as possible and everyone up-to-date, we have noted below where we are in the process.

Starting at London Meed Primary School Mid Year:
If you are looking for a place in any other year group, please contact West Sussex Admissions Team via email at admissions.north@westsussex.gov.uk or via phone on 03330 142903.

You can also arrange a tour of the school by contacting our Admissions team on admissions@londonmeedprimary.co.uk or via the phone on 01444 232336.

Please check back here regularly and if you are concerned you may not have received an email, you can contact us via email at admissions@londonmeedprimary.co.uk.

Once your child has been allocated a space via WSCC, please allow our office a few days to send out our welcome letter. We will need a copy of your council tax bill and child's birth certificate shortly after the letter has been sent.
