Theme and stalls:

The fair this year is panto-themed and will feature a number of stalls, from classic favourites to brand new ideas, all with a pantomime twist!

Grotto: our famously magical grotto will be back this year, this time with a pantomime theme featuring all of your favourite panto characters. Tickets for grotto visits and the chance to meet Santa will be available on the LMA pta events website during the next few weeks: we will let you know as soon as these are available.

Elfridges: Brand new for this year, we will have a children only present room, where our LMA elves will help your child to choose special gifts for their loved ones and wrap them up, ready to go straight under the tree for Christmas Day. Tickets will be available on the LMA pta events site.

Other stalls include:

-          Captain Hook’s hook a duck

-          Seven dwarf socks

-          Jack’s magic bean challenge

-          Sleeping beauty’s spinning wheel

-          Aladdin’s lucky dip

-          Special ‘going to the ball’ section with face painting, nail art, costume dress up and selfie area, hair spraying and more

-          We will also have outdoor market stalls, the café and our popular toiletry, sweetie and bottle tombolas!

Help on the day:

We would love as many parents and carers as possible to spare some time to help us to run stalls on the day, even if just for a short time. We will be putting up a list of stalls and times near the office from the 13th November, and asking people to sign up to help.

We are very grateful for every offer of help, however we ask you to please give us 48 hours notice if you’ve signed up and can no longer help. Please don’t swap with someone as new data protection laws will be breached.

We will also need help in setting up the stalls and activities all day on Friday 30th November, so please let the office or the LMA ( know if you’d be able to help us at all. You can also register as a volunteer on

Donation days:

For our tombolas, we will as always be asking for your kind donations, in exchange for your children wearing non uniform to school on set days. These donation days and what we require your children to bring in to school on each day are as follows:

Friday 23rd November: Non uniform day in exchange for bottles ( soft and alcoholic all welcome)

Monday 26th November: Non uniform day in exchange for chocolates or toiletries

Friday 30th November: Christmas themed dress up ( Christmas jumpers, shirts dresses, accessories etc) in exchange for wrapped sweets

N.B if any parents, grandparents or carers wish to bake and donate cakes they can – please give in to the office from the 26th November onwards.

Dick Whittington’s swag bags:

Each child has been given a white bag to decorate in line with the panto or Christmas theme. We ask that each bag is filled with a gift to the value of £2 per bag. Please can these bags be returned to school by the 19th November.

Raffle tickets

Each child will be given packs of raffle tickets to sell at a pound per ticket. Please sell as many as you can and return filled in stubs and monies to the school by the 30th November. There will be a box outside the office for you to deliver these to. Raffle prizes will be drawn and announced at the fair. Additional tickets will be available to buy on the day.

We realise this is a lot of information but hopefully having everything in one place will help! These fairs help to raise an amazing amount of money for our wonderful school and to benefit our children, so your cooperation, donations and offers of help really are appreciated by us and by the school.

If you have any questions, please let us know. We look forward to seeing you and your children at the fair on the 1st December!

Best wishes
